WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?


User Provided Information
 

Our software obtains some of the information you provide when you create an account or download and register the Application.When you create an account and register with us we collect demographic information (i.e. your username, age range, “home” city, gender, interest in certain hobbies/activities,etc.) and the email information you provide us when you contact us for help. 

We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with updates to our policies and/or services, required notices, and marketing promotions.

Some Information - such as your geo-location, push notifications, and/or browser and device characteristics - is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

What are my opt-out/opt-in rights?


You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by contacting us using the details provided below.

You will then be removed from the marketing email list - however, we may still communicate with you, for example to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at info@hithr.io and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

California Residents Privacy Rights 

California Civil Code Section 1782.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with a Service, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. We do not provide our services to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
